Specific Learning Outcomes for Participants include:
- Participants will describe the philosophy and research behind why we use yoga movement, practices, and principles in therapy.
- Participants will identify the anatomy and physiology of postural support, respiration/breathing, and the central nervous system as they support learning.
- Participants will describe the principles of Talk Yoga ™ and how infusing yoga into therapy supports overall learning and speech and language development.
- Participants will describe using a Talk Yoga™ perspective when evaluating and treating clients.
- Participants will apply Talk Yoga™ techniques to utilize during therapy with clients.

Once certified you have the option join our Membership Network. This will allow you to:
- Advertise yourself as a Talk Yoga™ Certified Instructor.
- Utilize the Talk Yoga™ logo on your websites or social media platforms.
- Be listed in our Instructor Database with a personal provider page on the Talk Yoga™ website.
- Access ready-made marketing tools, flyers, intake forms, visuals, and ongoing training resources.
- Receive member discounts and coaching from co-founders, Amy and Kim.
Once certified, if you choose not to join the Membership Network you can:
- Call yourself a Talk Yoga™ Certified Instructor.
- Teach private or group Talk Yoga™ classes for children, teens, or families.
- Integrate Talk Yoga™ into your professional work (SLP, OT, PT, educator, counselor, yoga teacher).
- Offer programs in schools, preschools, clinics, yoga studios, wellness centers, camps, and community programs.
- Adapt classes for different needs (speech/language delays, literacy, social skills, mindfulness, self-regulation, enrichment).
- Collaborate with other professionals.
- Host themed workshops (e.g., articulation & yoga, literacy & movement, mindfulness for kids).

- Review of Principles of Posture and Breathing
- Review of Sensory Systems most relevant to speech and language
- Case Studies and Diagnostic Implications - 10 minutes
- The Essence Talk Yoga™ - 1 hour 34 minutes
- Infusing Talk Yoga into Articulation therapy - I hour 12 minutes
- Infusing Talk Yoga™ into Language Intervention - 1 hour 18 minutes
- Breathing, Mindfulness with Talk Yoga™ - 1 hour
- Teaching Talk Yoga™ Classes - 1 hour 13 minutes
Completion Requirements:
- Watch all videos.
- Answer a short answer question for each training module.
- Complete a 10 question multiple choice assessment for the Science and Philosophy portion fo the training. You must pass with a score of 80% or more (unlimited retakes).
- Complete a 10 question multiple choice final assessment for remaining training videos. You must pass with a score of 80% or more (unlimited retakes).
- Complete the course feedback summary.
- Submit your recording of you demonstrating 5 Talk Yoga™ Articulation Poses, one Talk Yoga™ Tune-In, and one Talk Yoga™ Flow.
- You will have 6 months to complete the training.
- Please allow up to 30 days to receive your Certificate of Completion indicating you are now a Certified Talk Yoga™ Instructor and you will have the opportunity to join our Membership Network and market yourself as a Talk Yoga™ Trained Instructor.

Refund Policy: Once a trainee has been given training materials and access to the online course content, no refunds are not provided. |

Complaint Policy: We Want to Know! If you have complaints about any policies or conduct of Talk Yoga™ or those representing Talk Yoga™ we need to know within 30 days after the online training has been completed. There are two options for you to let us know about your concerns:
