Chloe Yates

Chloe earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Kentucky University. Before this, Chloe worked as a Certified Speech Language Pathology Assistant for Jefferson County Public Schools in West Virginia for four years.  She is currently licensed to provide speech therapy services in both Virginia and Maryland. She is a member of the Speech and Hearing Association in Virginia (SHAV) and the Maryland Speech and Hearing Association (MSHA). Chloe evaluates and treats infants, children, and adults across settings with articulation, phonological, motor speech, oral motor, fluency, and language disorders. She has additional experience evaluating and treating pediatric feeding disorders. Chloe collaborates with families, caregivers and health professionals to service all clients including those with co-occurring neurodevelopmental disorders. She is certified in Beckman Oral Motor and Simon Says myofunctional assessments and interventions. She is a certified Talk Yoga™ provider. Chloe incorporates DIR Floortime principles, science based yoga practices, musical instruments, singing and movement exercises into therapeutic sessions. She is passionate about coaching parents and caregivers on using neurodiversity-affirming practices and language development strategies.  

She is an experienced Academic Tutor for elementary, middle, high school and college students completing math (e.g. Pre-Algebra), science, English, writing, and social science courses (e.g. Psychology). She has helped students study for the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). 
Outside of professional work hours, Chloe enjoys playing with her puppy, Chip. She enjoys walking outdoors, thrifting treasures, decorating her home, and trying new foods with family and friends.
