Incorporate Talk Yoga™ techniques into your speech and language therapy, preschool, and yoga classes. This training will include approximately 4-6 hours of pre-recorded content that must be viewed prior to the in-person portion held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 9:00-4:00 pm EST. The training will be offered in the DC Metro area at MOCO Movement Center in Kensington, MD. This will be a hybrid training (both virtual and in-person participation are available). Cameras must be on during the training to receive certification.
This training is for professionals such as speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and teachers. Topics: philosophy and research behind the Talk Yoga™ approach, as well as anatomy, physiology, and ideas for collaboration with other professionals. We will demonstrate the yoga and breathing strategies as well as teach you how to use the Talk Yoga™ lens to treat and assess clients.
12 Continuing Education Hours are provided, but please check with your local licensing boards in advance.
