  • The utilization of a new approach to speech and language therapy including the reasoning behind why the movement and principles of yoga were chosen to incorporate into traditional therapy.  
  • An introduction to three types of yoga movement that are utilized in Talk Yoga™ sessions and classes.
  • Research that supports the benefits of utilizing movement to engage individuals and result in greater improvements in targeted skills.
  • Overall evidence based benefits of yoga for children and adults.
Specific Learning Outcomes for Participants include:
  • Participants will describe the main idea behind why we use yoga movement, practices, and principles in therapy.
  • Participants will identify three types of yoga utilized in Talk Yoga™.
  • Participants will describe the research that supports the benefits of movement.
  • Participants will describe the benefits of yoga for children and adults.​
